After three years of continuous study of Tae Kwon Do, it is expected that students will have progressed to the point where they are independent learners and can effectively become teachers themselves. In laymen’s terms, they have grown from infancy to adolescence, and are now entering adulthood in terms of their Martial Arts’ life. Their attitude by now reflects that and they should be able to act independently of their instructors.
They are now considered true Martial Artists and are responsible for their future within the world of Tae Kwon Do. They will be given an opportunity to teach and demonstrate the leadership skills they have acquired throughout their time at KM2A. They will lead lower-ranked students through basic techniques including commands, sparring, and most importantly, testing. As a true Martial Artist who has achieved the rank of black belt, they are now the proud owners of a well-conditioned body with the mental instincts of a long-time self-defense student. They will be wonderful additions to our teaching staff and positive influences in all areas of their lives.
